An ode to the early days of motherhood.

There are endless memes and gifs highlighting the difficulties of the early postpartum days. In response, I began to create a body of work that focused on its sincere beauty.

Beauty dwells in the those early postpartum days. As much as there are too many hormones, soreness, tears (you and the little babe), feeding, met and unmet expectations - all these wash against the astounding truth that this tiny baby is a gift. I want to draw attention to this truth.
